How to Use
- Go to search.google.com/search-console.
- Add your property (Domain or URL prefix) and verify ownership via DNS TXT record, HTML file upload, or Google Analytics.
- Go to the "Sitemaps" section and submit your
sitemap.xml. - Use the "URL Inspection" tool to request indexing for new pages.
Important Notes
- Data Delay: Search performance data (clicks, impressions) usually has a 2-3 day delay. It is not real-time.
- Index Coverage: Regularly check the "Pages" report to identify pages that are "Discovered - currently not indexed" or have 404 errors.
