LottieFiles is the world's largest platform for Lottie animations. Lottie is a JSON-based animation file format that enables designers to ship animations on any platform (web, iOS, Android) with incredibly small file sizes and infinite scalability.

Free Tier: Yes. Free access to thousands of animations and the basic web editor.
Starter Plan: $9/month. Unlocks private animations and higher download limits.
Pro Plan: $19/month. Adds team collaboration and custom branding.

How to Use

1. Search for an animation on lottiefiles.com.
2. Download it as a .json file or copy the Lottie URL.
3. Install the lottie-web player in your project.
4. Initialize the player and pass the JSON data to render the animation.

Important Notes

• Licensing: Not all animations are free for commercial use. Always check the license (Lottie Simple License vs. Creative Commons) before embedding in a paid product.
• Performance: While much lighter than GIFs or MP4s, having 20+ complex Lottie animations on a single page can still cause CPU spikes on mobile devices.
