Poe (Platform for Open Exploration) is an AI aggregator developed by Quora. It allows users to interact with multiple leading AI models (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and DALL-E) in a single unified interface, and enables users to create and share their own custom AI bots.

Pricing & Free Tier

Free Tier: Yes. Provides a daily allowance of free "compute points" to chat with standard models.
Poe Subscription: $19.99/month (billed annually). Grants a much larger monthly point allowance to access advanced models like GPT-4 and Claude 3 Opus without daily limits.

How to Use

1. Go to poe.com and log in.
2. Browse the sidebar to find specific bots (e.g., "Claude-3-Opus" or "DALL-E-3").
3. Start chatting. You can switch between models in the same chat thread to compare their outputs.
4. Click "Create a bot" to build your own custom assistant using prompt engineering.

Important Notes

• Compute Points: Different models cost different amounts of points. Using premium models will drain your points much faster.
• Data Privacy: Poe states that it does not use your conversations to train its own models, but chats may still be subject to the policies of the underlying model providers.
