Overview

Spline is a web-based 3D design tool that allows UI/UX designers to create interactive 3D scenes without coding. It exports lightweight 3D assets that can be easily embedded into websites (React, Webflow, Framer) with built-in animations and physics.

Free Tier: Yes. Includes unlimited personal projects and 2 file exports.
Super Plan: $9/month. Unlocks unlimited exports and removes the Spline watermark.
Team Plan: $12/user/month. Adds collaborative 3D editing.

How to Use

Sign in at spline.design.
Add 3D primitives (cubes, spheres) or import models via GLTF/OBJ.
Apply materials, lighting, and add states/interactions.
Click "Export" -> "Web Content" to copy the embed code for your website.

Important Notes

File Weight: While optimized, heavy 3D scenes can drastically slow down your website and hurt SEO. Keep scenes lightweight.
Mobile Support: 3D graphics require WebGL, which can quickly drain battery life on mobile devices.
