About
Overview
Sudowrite is an AI writing tool built specifically for fiction authors and novelists. It goes beyond basic text generation by offering tools to expand descriptions, generate plot twists, brainstorm character names, and overcome writer's block.
Pricing & Free Tier
Free Tier: No. Sudowrite works on a credit system, and you must purchase a plan.
Hobby & Student: $19/month. Includes 90,000 credits.
Professional: $29/month. Includes 300,000 credits.
How to Use
- Create an account and start a new "Story Bible" to define your characters and plot.
- Paste your existing text into the editor.
- Highlight a paragraph and select "Describe" to get sensory details, or "Rewrite" to change the tone.
- Use the "Brainstorm" tool to generate ideas for the next chapter.
Important Notes
- Credit System: Every generation burns credits. If you rely heavily on the AI to write long paragraphs, you can exhaust your monthly credits quickly.
- Style: Sudowrite's AI can sometimes generate overly purple or cliché prose. Human editing is still required to maintain a unique voice.
