About
Overview
Warp is a blazingly fast, Rust-based terminal built for the modern developer. It reimagines the command-line interface with a block-based layout, AI command suggestions, and collaborative features, making the terminal more accessible and powerful.
Pricing & Free Tier
Free Tier: Yes. Includes the core terminal and 50 AI requests per month.
Pro Plan: $15/month (billed annually). Unlocks unlimited AI requests and Warp Drive storage.
How to Use
- Download Warp for macOS or Linux.
- Set your default shell (Zsh, Bash, or Fish).
- Type a command; Warp groups the command and its output into a navigable "block".
- If stuck, type a natural language question and press
Ctrl + `to invoke Warp AI.
Important Notes
- Privacy: Warp is closed-source and requires an account to use. It collects basic telemetry, which is a concern for some enterprise users.
- Keyboard Shortcuts: Some traditional terminal shortcuts behave differently due to the block-based UI. It requires an adjustment period.
